
Logo design, 2023 — Outlandish is Brooklyn’s first and only the fourth Black-owned hiking store in the US. I worked with co-founder, Benje Williams, to bring their logo and icon to life.
The icon is an homage to Harriet Powers. Betts, the brand’s muse and a character from Powers’ quilts, is an independent hog who ran for 500 miles from Georgia to Virginia.
